| CryoCord’s laboratory has been involved in the processing and storage of stem cells since early 2002 and we are the first stem cell bank in Malaysia to receive the prestigious ISO9001:2000 certification, recognized by both the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and the American Society for Quality National Accreditation Board (ANAB). The state-of-the-art laboratory is also a certified Class 100 Cleanroom where the processing of stem cells take place, providing a sterile environment to minimize the chance for contamination. |

| Processing Equipment |
| The AXP™ AutoXpress™ Platform is a functionally-closed, automated, sterile system that consistently and efficiently harvests priceless stem cells from umbilical cord blood. It is designed to capture essential data for quality as assurance and compliance with both international cGTP and cGMP standards, and offers consistenly high recoveries of stem cells from cord blood (>97% recovery rate*). High cell recovery translates to higher cell count with an excellent chance of increased cell viability. |

| Cleanroom Filters |
| The processing laboratory is a ISO14644 Class 5 (Class 100) Cleanroom with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter certified to NASA and US Federal Standard 209E. The HEPA filters are critical in the prevention of the spread of airborne bacterial and viral organisms and, therefore, infection. This assures a very high level of protection against airborne disease transmission. |

| CryoCord utilizes the latest and most precise storage vaults to offer the ultimate protection against cross-contamination. There are mechanisms in place in each tank to precisely maintain liquid nitrogen levels and maintain consistent temperature for effective cryopreservation. |
| Laboratory practices are kept at the highest standard at all times. We subject our laboratory to weekly environmental assays to monitor the sterility levels to guarantee that there is zero growth of contaminants i.e. bacterial and fungal colonies at all times. |
| A 930KVA back-up generator is also equipped to ensure uninterrupted power supply for continued cryopreservation of stem cells. |
